New Identity for AsiaMalls
As manager of five key shopping malls in Singapore, AsiaMalls is rapidly growing. In line with the revamps undertaken across the malls, a new portfolio of identities has been created to reflect the character and values of both the management company and the malls it manages. The corporate identity structure is themed around the elements of nature. Each mall expresses its individual style and positioning whilst linking them back to the management company. The Tiong Bahru Plaza logoA mall for all generations, the leaf aptly represents the evergreen and friendly nature of Tiong Bahru Plaza. Evolved from the leaf of a bamboo plant, the leaf symbolizes life, strength and dignity. The enveloping of the smaller leaf by the bigger leaf suggests the bridging of generations. Food Waste Recycling @ Tiong Bahru Plaza and Central Plaza
| In line with the government’s Green Plan 2012, Tiong Bahru Plaza and Central Plaza successfully rolled out its Food Waste Recycling Programme on 1 May 2009. Tenant participation has been very positive with a total of 42 F&B tenants involved. The programme is expected to make a significant impact on the environment, since food waste constitutes approximately 11% of the total waste output in Singapore. In food waste recycling, our F&B tenants separate food waste and non-food waste when they dispose them in specially designated waste disposal locations and food bins. Food waste is then transported to a food waste recycling plant operated by waste management specialist IUT Singapore Pte Ltd to be treated and recycled. End results – a nutrient-rich bio-compost which can be used for farming and landscaping and methane which can be harnessed to produce electrical energy.![]() | |
