Drop off non-perishable food items into food donation boxes to help those in need
In a food paradise like Singapore, it's hard to believe that food insecurity exists here. However, The Food Bank Singapore's 2020 Hunger Report showed that 10% of households experienced some form of food insecurity in the last 12 months. Out of this, two in five experienced food insecurity at least once a month.
 
The challenge isn't that food is scarce, instead it's ensuring that food gets to the people who need it most. And so we’ve partnered with The Food Bank Singapore for the 4th year to prevent food from being wasted, and to bring food relief to vulnerable individuals and families.
 
Do your part and drop off non-perishable food items into food donation boxes located at our malls. The Food Bank Singapore and its volunteers will sort, pack and redistribute your contributions to community pantries, food relief rations, and daily meal programmes.
 
Not sure of what food items to donate? Just check that they are unopened and in their original packaging, with a shelf life of at least four weeks. As a gesture of gratitude and thanks, approach our Customer Service officers to redeem a $3 Frasers Property Digital Gift Card, compliments of GrabPay, when you donate five or more food items.
 
Head down to any of these locations, and help reduce food waste, while alleviating food insecurity in Singapore.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Receive a $3 Frasers Property Digital Gift Card, compliments of GrabPay, when you donate 5 or more non-perishable food items into food donation boxes.
From 25 March to 30 April 2022
 
Participating malls are Bedok Point, Causeway Point, Century Square, Changi City Point, Eastpoint Mall, Hougang Mall, Northpoint City, Tampines 1, The Centrepoint, Tiong Bahru Plaza, Waterway Point, and White Sands.
 
  • Non-perishable food items that are unopened and unused with at least a 4-week shelf life such as staples, beverages, condiments, snacks, canned food and dried preserved food.
  • Loose items are not allowed. The mall reserves the right to decline food items that are unsuitable for donation.
  • Redemption of the $3 Frasers Property Digital Gift Card must be done at the respective mall's Customer Service Counter, prior to depositing food items into food donation boxes. 
  • Upon successful redemption, a $3 Frasers Property Digital Gift Card will be credited to FRx member’s e-wallet.
  • Limited to a single redemption per FRx member per day on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Limited to first 2,100 FRx members across 12 participating malls.
  • The stored value in each digital gift card expires 1 year from the date of issue.
  • Consumer advisory — Frasers Property Retail Management Pte. Ltd (FPRM), the holder of Monetary Authority of Singapore. Consumers (users) are advised to read the terms and conditions carefully.
  • Digital gift cards are accepted at participating retailers ("Gift Card Participating Merchants") at the malls managed by FPRM ("Frasers Property Malls"), the full list of which may be obtained from http://bit.ly/FrasersDGC.
